The target is unable to act every every other turn for X turns. If this targets a follower/vehicle, that follower/vehicle will cost double the LP to activate every other turn instead. X can only be an even number and must be 2 at minimum.

On Techniques[]

[Paralyze (X)] is a Status, and as such requires one effect slot to have a stack of it on a technique. Each X costs 2.5 EP, if added in that way, but can only be added in groups of 2. It cannot be added as an inhibitor.

Training Grounds Prices[]

Adding [Slow (2)] to a tech costs 3 upgrades, as well as:

  • 360c if the tech costs EP
  • 440c if the tech costs no EP

Increasing the effectiveness of an existing [Slow] effect by 2 costs 3 upgrades, as well as:

  • 280c if the tech costs EP
  • 360c if the tech costs no EP

  • Is 1/4 resistant to [Slow] (1 Effect Slot)
  • Is (2) resistant to [Slow] (1 Effect Slot)
  • May add [Slow 2] to a technique for 5 EP once per round (2 Effect Slots)
  • Immunity to [Slow] (4 Effect Slots)

On Equipment[]

The following equipment effects involve [Paralyze].

  • Add [Slow (2)] to a technique for 5 EP once per round. {150c}
  • [1/4] Resist to [Slow] {150c}
  • [Resist Slow (2)] {150c}
  • Immunity to [Slow] {600c}
  • [Element] attacks inflict [Slow 2] {400c} (5 Effect Slots)

Additional Rulings[]

  • [Slow] cannot stack with [Silence], [Charm], [Lull], or [Paralyze] on a General or Quest Monster. It can do so on other units.
  • [Slow] cannot be inflicted on the turn a unit recovers from [Silence], [Charm], [Lull], [Slow], or [Paralyze].
  • A character cannot escape from battle if they are inflicted with [Slow].
  • A character can escape from an opponent who is inflicted with [Slow] without paying the DP cost.
  • The character is affected by [Slow] on the odd-numbered turns. A General cannot act when they are under [Slow 1], [Slow 3], etc, but can while under [Slow 2], [Slow 4], etc.
