Dispels X buffs from an enemy. If used against a target under the influence of [Vega], each remaining turn of [Vega] counts as a separate buff for the purposes of this effect.

On Techniques[]

[Dispel (X)] is a Status, and as such requires one effect slot to have a stack of it on a technique. Each X costs 4 EP, if added in that way. It cannot be added as an inhibitor.

Training Grounds Prices[]

Adding [Dispel (1)] to a tech costs:

  • 160c if the tech costs EP
  • 200c if the tech costs no EP

Increasing the effectiveness of an existing [Dispel] effect by 1 costs:

  • 80c if the tech costs EP
  • 120c if the tech costs no EP

  • May add [Dispel 1] to a technique for 4 EP once per round (2 Effect Slots)

On Equipment[]

The following equipment effects involve [Dispel].

  • Add [Dispel (1)] to a technique for 4 EP once per round. {150c}
  • [Element] attacks inflict [Dispel 1] {320c} (4 Effect Slots)

Additional Rulings[]

  • [Dispel] removes a full stack of any positive status that isn't [Vega]. [Dispel 1] can therefore remove [Slow Heal 10] just as well as [Slow Heal 1].
  • [Dispel X] reduces the count of [Vega Y] by X. So, [Dispel 2] on [Vega 5] results in [Despair 3].
  • Note that resistance and immunity for [Dispel] does not exist.
