Destroys target equipment or item. The item is repaired at the end of the battle. Each X decays another piece of equipment. While destroyed, all of the target equipment's effects are nulled.

On Techniques[]

[Decay (X)] is a Status, and as such requires one effect slot to have a stack of it on a technique. Each X costs 8 EP, if added in that way. It cannot be used as an inhibitor.

Training Grounds Prices[]

Adding [Decay (1)] to a tech, or upgrading an existing [Decay] effect by 1, costs 3 upgrades as well as:

  • 320c if the tech costs EP
  • 480c if the tech costs no EP

On Abilities[]

The following abilities involve [Decay]. Check the Abilities chapter for details.

  • May add [Decay 1] to a technique for 8 EP once per round (2 Effect Slots)

On Equipment[]

The following equipment effects involve [Ability Scramble].

  • Add [Decay (1)] to an attack for 8 EP. Usable once per round. {180c}
  • Immunity to [Decay], only affects the piece of equipment it is on. Doesn't count towards the immunity cap. {360c}
  • [Element] attacks inflict [Decay 1] {640c} (8 Effect Slots)

Additional Rulings[]

  • If status immunity is decayed, then that status applied, the status remains on the character if the immunity is repaired before the status wears off.
